Recently Ufa, the capital of Bashkortostan hosted the 16th International Ballet Art Festival named after Rudolph Nuriyev. A graduate of Azerbaijani ballet school Ulvi Azizov attended the festival organized by TURKSOY. He performed successfully and awarded TURKSOY's prize.

A diploma "For Contribution to the Development of Ballet Art and High Professionalism" signed by the Minister of Culture and National Policy of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ildus Ilishev and TURKSOY's Secretary General Dussein Kasseinov was presented to our compatriot. Note that Ulvi Azizov is the son of a people's artist of Azerbaijan Rafig Azizov. He is a graduate of Baku Choreography School. Then he left for Turkey in order to continue and improve his career there. At present he is a soloist of Lithuanian National Opera.
