A director of Rustaveli Theatre of Georgia Gocha Kapanadze has been invited to Baku to stage a play in Azerbaijan State Musical Comedy Theatre. The Georgian director will stage "Khanuma" by A. Sagareli, according to the press service of the theatre. The play will stage in Azerbaijani and Russian as an international project.
Gocha Kapanadze is one of the famous directors of Georgia. Painters of the play Ana Ni Nua and designer Lomgul Murusidze have been invited from Georgia. The creative group consists of a People's artist, dance Tarana Muradova, the honored art figure Nazim Hajibayov. Afag Bashirgyzy will play "Khanuma in both performance (Azerbaijani and Russian). People's artist Ilham Namig Kamal, the honored artists Boris Grafkin, Khanim Gafarova, Elchin Hamidov, Akbar Alizadeh, actors Nargiz Karimova, Farid Aliyev, Ramil Gasymov, Isabella Schvets, Emil Haydarov, Ulviyya Aliyeva, Nahida Orujova, Svetlana Bulakh, Alimammad Novruzov, Azizaga Azizov, Marina Litvinenko and others will play the leading parts. Rehearsals of the play are considered to start on September 1. Note that Azerbaijan State Musical Comedy Theatre celebrates its 100-year anniversary.
