A well-known Belgian flutist Christian Plouvier gave a concert on July 21 on the occasion of the national holiday of Belgium. State anthems of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Belgium were played prior to the ceremony. Belgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mr. Philippe Jottard said that it had been already 179 years that the country solemnly celebrates the national holiday - inauguration day of the King. He emphasized that economical, political, cultural relations between Belgium and Azerbaijan had developed highly.

Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev congratulated the Belgian people on the important day. Mentioning about the high-level relations between our countries, the minister also stressed the importance of cooperation of both countries in realization of significant projects.

Following the official part, a famous Belgian flutist Christian Plouvier performed a large concert program.

All funds from the concert will be transferred to the service "hotline" for children's rights.
